Creative LeadAmazon Aug 2014 - Aug 2015Seattle, WaAs the Creative Lead/Program Manager Amazon Ads team, it was my responsibility to provide an on-site working demonstration for former CEO, Amazon, Jeff Bezos, of a live streaming shopping TV show, in which customers could purchase products real-time. This ground-breaking live-stream prototype was approved by leadership and is now Amazon.com/live. To build a real-world example of the final product, I was responsible for the video production, sound design and post-production for all VOD and branded content. I developed show topics, concepts and produced a series of test episodes that were reviewed by internal stakeholders and leadership on a weekly basis. I moderated the focus groups, usability testing, and conducted user interviews to ensure quality of this program. Finally, I established a sponsored influencer program framework for Amazon.com/live at CES to promote this new technology. This effort also led to a new on-line video program called “video shorts”, for Amazon.com where I interviewed celebrities, Nick Cannon, Shaq O’Neil, and others to promote and sell hardlines at Amazon. -
Video Production ManagerAt&T Apr 2010 - Sep 2014Seattle, WaAt AT&T, I built the 1st in-house video production studio that focused on product marketing solutions through video. I worked closely with the Web, Advertising and Analytics teams to understand what type of videos get better engagement, and provide higher acquisition results. My research, video direction and contextual video design efforts lead to a 32% increase in cell-phone sales on the AT&T product detail pages in 2013. I created the top organic viewed thumbnail and video on the AT&T home page for the HTC One phone, with over 250K views on the 1st day, 50% more views than any other product video at that time. I learned that humanistic video earned more trust and engagement than the typical “360 phone” videos that our vendors were producing. Throughout my career at my AT&T, my ability to establish and strengthen the brand through video and top creative projects earned me a unique creative role for AT&T’s special projects including “The Mobile Movement”, in partnership with SXSW. -
