As a key member of AFR UK's leadership team I hold responsibility for all aspects of finance, HR, legal, and governance. I work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to instill a culture of transparency, collaboration and dynamic leadership across the charity, ensure that all activities support AFR UK's mission and strategic priorities and foster continuous improvement and innovation while mitigating operational risks.

Worked to future proof the charity by delivering a model for long term financial sustainability, along with an efficient and effective operating model and service delivery. Responsibility for business planning, operations, governance, financial management, HR, technology and administration, reporting to the CEO and Board of Trustees. Took a highly active role in strategy formulation, major strategic change programmes, fundraising development and operational management of all the charity’s activities, with specific responsibility for the production of its flagship project, the Wildscreen Festival - the biggest global gathering of wildlife filmmakers and photographers.

Held sole responsibility for all aspects of the management and delivery of WildPhotos, a three-day annual event dedicated to exploring the power of wildlife photography. Exceeded financial forecast and increased attendee numbers to a record high. Portfolio encompassed financial planning, generating sales and sponsorship income, securing online and print marketing coverage, volunteer management, production management and stewarding all client, partner and sponsor relationships.

Facilitated the planning, programming, marketing and delivery of the Wildscreen Festival. Responsibilities included departmental budget management and sales reporting, schedule and venue management, securing sponsorship income, devising programme ideas, event production management, copywriting and participant liaison.
