ALDI s.r.l. is the newly opened Italian branch of ALDI Süd, a leading mass market retailer operating in Europe, USA, and Australia.I took over the National IT office during the country opening phase in 2018, becoming responsible for guiding and motivating 23 staff plus regional IT offices.I am now in charge of coordinating demand management as well as local IT operations (National infrastructure and networking, application portfolio, 150+ store operations), acting as a trait-d’union between Italian lines of business, central IT services, technology partners. My team also supports the ongoing expansion in Italy, contributing to the evolution of the local store concept as well as to the set-up of all new locations (40+ /year).

After a semester as project manager at company´s HQ in Austria, I was appointed Manager of IT – Stores Division, directly reporting to the Italian CTO.
