Nicola is a Creative Professional who has been commissioned to produce work for galleries, theatres, outdoor events and a number site specific installations. She is co-founder of Vortex Creates, a creative company with a mission to connect and inspire people through bold, joyful and memorable experiences. Concept creators, designers, makers and project managers; Vortex transform spaces across sectors for wide reaching audiences. Her creative approach, ability to think outside the box, facilitation and experience as a successful business woman has enabled her to support schools and businesses strategically as well as practically for the last 20 years. She has a playful style and easy communication skills which belie a razor sharp mind, keen analytical skills and infinite dedication to whatever task she is undertaking. A true collaborator, her work empowers and motivates adults and young people alike from Early years to post 16 and beyond to make positive changes. She works in partnership with schools to understand and develop creative approaches to support higher attainment, pupil engagement, staff motivation and Sustainability. She also uses her experience to advise and mentor Creative businesses and individuals. She has sat on a number of Boards including National Glass Centre Arts Advisory Board, Cardinal Wiseman Career Academy Board and is currently the chair of Artspace Studios.
