Part time foster carer and meet and greet volunteer - ensuring the Glasgow Rehoming centre feels welcoming and attractive to visitors and potential adopters when they visit.

I managed City of Glasgow College Engineer and ETO cadets (HNC/SPD/Postgrad Routes). I attend career events/nautical college open days. I was directly involved in the recruitment process of new cadets into the industry.

During my 5 years with Northstar I gained newbuild and dry dock experience, Desiel-Eletric vessel experience having taking new build vessels on maiden voyages from the shipyard. I maintained single handed watches in full charge of all engine room machinery spaces and systems. I assisted in the training and development of cadets as a Designated Shipboard Training Officer. I was also the AMA (advanced medical aider).

During my time with William Hill I was encouraged to undertake my Duty Manager training by my store manager and I was also Nominated for the HOME champion award by my district manager for my enthusiasm, customer service skills and work ethic.

I completed my cadetship with Clyde Marine Training sponsored by Norbulk Shipping Ltd.I sailed onboard the Rhourd Enouss (LPG) and the New England (Crude oil tanker). I gained my EOOW CoC in June 2013.
