Having held a Voluntary role acting as a Director and Trustee as well as Treasurer for this Charity (THE Charity supporting people with Narcolepsy along with their families and friends) in December 2013 I 'crossed over' to become an Employee as Operations Manager. The first challenge was to run the Pandemrix Narcolepsy Update Conference on 18/19 Jan 2014 which was a huge success in so many ways.We are always seeking new ways to raise funds to continue supporting people with narcolepsy.... Having started to work in Property in 1973 this has been a continuing theme. Running a long-established and succesful Lettings Agency which was sold in 2007 gave many years insight into all aspects of Property related businesses.Since 2007 the business concentrates on the Management (or Care may be a better word) of Blocks of Flats. Also a Director of Huntingdon Community Radio and a past Rotarian

Radio Presenter working with Community and Charitable groups to help get their message out. Researching the topic, then delivering the questions and presenting the show.

Developed and ran a private lettings agency with all that required. This included running a Nationwide Building Society Agency (at the time it was the equivalent to a local Branch office), Holding Agencies with Major Insurance and Assurance companies. Ensuring our Landlord and Tenant clients were dealt with fairly , supporting either party if the other was being disingenuous. A takeover offer came just at the right time.

A most enjoyable role working with a true gentleman (having previously worked in an environment which would now be in court!). This role gave confidence and taught me so much. Despite leaving to set up my own business this gent moved his property portfolio to my business. I then became a Trustee to run his portfolio which ended with helping to wind up this business on his death.
