As a second-year student at Tuks, I'm on a mission to explore the frontiers of aerospace tech and whatever pro. I am incredibly passionate about the engineering feats that keeps the world turning. I finished high school as one of the top 50 students in the Northwest province in South Africa. Now chasing my academic ambitions at the University of Pretoria as a second-year Mechanical Engineer fueled by curiosity, always on the lookout for opportunities to dive into diverse scientific fields, learning how to wield this knowledge to solve actual problems.At Bluecrane, I currently serve as the Department Coordinator for the Engineering department, where we aim to one day help humanity set sail for the sky. Today, with the group still in its infancy we mainly work on small rocket and aircraft-projects for research and our own skill development as aspiring engineers. While working on the Hadeda and Pigeon project I've found that practical experience is almost just as valuable as academic expertise.Inspired by the potential of technology and sciences to shape my future, I believe that we should be tackling serious any challenges head-on, learning from failure and success. Whether it's groundbreaking advancements in the aerospace industry or addressing pressing global issues, I'm dedicated meaningfully contribute to a better tomorrow.After all, it is our responsibility to do so.
