Clients included the largest companies in the region (eg mining majors, engineering, FMCG, logistics and agriculture companies).Supported economic aspects of national-level partnerships, such as the Singapore-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) and Singapore-New Zealand Enhanced Partnership.Under CSP, Nicolas also worked closely with Austrade on Australia’s Landing Pad in Singapore – supporting the growth of Australian startups.

Key accounts included, PetroChina, Sinopec, Huaneng, Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Lenovo, Baidu, Xiaomi, JD.com and Haier. Engaged central government bodies such as State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, China Banking Regulatory Commission and China National Space Agency. Served concurrently as EDB Beijing Centre's CFO.

Led the conceptualization, planning and execution of strategies to nurture Singapore’s Space industry. Nicolas was instrumental in leading the set-up of Singapore's Office for Space Technology & Industry (OSTIn) and securing the allocation of S$90 million for the sector. He was also part of the Asia-Pacific support team specializing in the China market, and Singapore’s Research, Innovation and Enterprise 2015 (RIE2015)’s Business Expenditure in R&D Taskforce.
