Dr. Nicolás Avellaneda is a highly skilled and accomplished medical surgeon with a focus on colorectal surgery and proctology. He has completed his education from some of the most prestigious institutions such as Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark and Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has been working as a staff surgeon for a number of reputed institutions including CEMIC (Centro de Educación Médica e Investigaciones Clínicas), "Nueva Proctología" and Grupo Médico Oncológico de Cirugía Abdominal. Dr. Avellaneda is a member of several medical societies such as Argentine Association of Surgery, Argentine Society of Coloproctology, European Society of Coloproctology and International Fellow of American College of Surgeons. He has also been actively involved in teaching, having trained several assistants and currently holds the position of Assistant Professor in Medicine and Surgery.
