My Ph.D. project was dedicated to the investigation of stator/stator clocking in HP transonic turbines. Such investigation is important for manufacturers because clocking should be used as a design parameter in order to extend life duration of machines.Later, as a Senior Engineer at the von Karman Institute, I am working in the field of high speed compressors improvement and probe design for industrial fan applicationMost of my tasks during my experience in von Karman Institute can be resume as follow:- Aerothermal aspects of steady and unsteady flowfields in HP turbines- Fast response pressure measurements, temperature and heat flux measurements- Numérical methods for post-processing- Blowdown windtunnel- 3D NS unsteady computationsThen, at Alstom Power UK, in Rugby, I worked as a test engineer on turbine test rigs. Additionally, I was also involved in the "Graduate Development Programme". Later, in Alstom Power Switzerland, in Birr, I was in charge of the blade vibrations measurements by tip timing within the gas turbine test center.Within Fogale nanotech, I was responsible of the turbomachinery testing activities with a specific interest on the business development of the support and service with their current tip-clearance/tip-timing system.Now, at Gadcap Techinal Solutions, I will oversee commercial operations for the CapaciSense brand, reporting directly to the GadCap Technical Director.Specialties: Turbomachinery technologies, test rigs, measurement techniques, design, publication of scientific articles
