As a Tax Director I direct and oversee Platform.sh’s tax policies: * Oversee and manage global tax compliance in all relevant jurisdictions worldwide (tax planning, preparation, and filing) * Review the company's budgets and financial documents to provide tax advice * Provide strategic tax advice and guidance on potential mergers & acquisitions transactions and analysis of French and international tax issues, including contracts review and stock-options plans * Collaborate with external tax and legal experts on tax planning strategies, and manage tax-related interactions with external tax advisors, tax authorities, and auditors * Manage the tax audits of the company, including the tax audit/tax litigation process, and coordinate between teams to gather all required documentation * Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations across different jurisdictions, assessing their impact on the company and recommending appropriate actions, including transfer pricing * Represent the business at industry body forums, perform industry submissions and liaise with tax authorities or government representatives
