Hy24 is a joint venture between Ardian, Europe’s largest private investment house with managed assets of c. $114 billion, and FiveT Hydrogen, a new investment manager specialized purely on clean hydrogen investments. We combine Ardian’s premier infrastructure fund management record with FiveT’s unparalleled hydrogen expertise and network. We will scale up the global hydrogen economy through first-mover investment opportunities perfectly aligned with the universal ESG agenda.

Hydrogen Europe is the voice of the hydrogen industry in Europe. It has more than 250 members representing the entire value from energy companies, all major hydrogen technology providers, gas and electricity grids to all end uses sectors in transport (road transport, rail, maritime & aviation), industry (refineries, ammonia, steel, chemicals, etc) and buildings as well as national hydrogen associations. Over the last four years we turned a small R&I association into a fully-fledged trade association, tripling our membership, creating a strong and passionnate team. Our association is now considered as a key partner by the EU institutions and all major industrial sectors. We helped turning hydrogen into a central element of the EU climate policies and corporate strategies.

The Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU) is a unique public private partnership supporting research, technological development and demonstration (RTD) activities in fuel cell and hydrogen energy technologies in Europe. Its aim is to accelerate the market introduction of these technologies, realising their potential as an instrument in achieving a net zero emission Europe.For the period 2007-2013, the partnership had a budget of 940 Million. For the period 2014-2020, it has a total budget of 1,3Bn.For 13 years, the partnership has been at the center of the innovation in hydrogen. For a first group of applications (electrolysis, cars, buses, trains, forklifts, residential fuel cells, etc.), it turned R&I into market products ready for large scale commericalisation. In parallel, it prepares a second generation of applications in transport (coaches, trucks, maritime, aviation), energy and industry. It achieved this notably through grants but also by developing commercialisation strategies with large coalitions of suppliers and end users and kickstarting the implementation of these strategies with flagship projects co-funded with other EU and national programmes.The three members of the FCH JU are the European Commission, the hydrogen industry represented by Hydrogen Europe and the research community represented by Hydrogen Europe Research.
