During my time as a Java Backend Engineer at Sirius Software, I had the opportunity to work on the development of the REST API for a Pre-sales platform for a California-based client. I utilized a range of technologies, including Java 8, Springboot, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Flyway, JUnit, Postman, and AWS.We developed the platform using Java 8 and Springboot, with Hibernate serving as the ORM and PostgreSQL as the database. We used Flyway to manage database migrations, JUnit for unit-testing and Postman for API testing. The platform was hosted in the AWS cloud and monitored using Prometheus and Grafana.In this role, I was responsible for defining, estimating, and implementing user stories in a Scrum-based environment, and was often tasked with demoing the work from each sprint to the client.
