Communicated with and assisted the dean, two associate deans, assistant dean, three counselors, faculty, staff, students, and visitors to the College of Engineering. Job demanded computer proficiency, strong problem solving skills, and an excellent team player attitude. Answered phones, sorted mail, accessed student records, ran errands between departments. Researched 173 American universities and compiled a spreadsheet of department names for the dean.

Worked on a production platform in the Gulf of Mexico in a 7 day on/ 7 day off rotation learning the ins and outs of an offshore oil and gas operation. Observed and assisted production operators, mechanics, electricians, construction, and painters on 5 different platforms with various tasks including: the maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment parts, crane rig up, wireline operations, and paraffin removal. Participated in morning safety meetings. Recorded hourly readings from gas sales meter and oil LACT unit, reporting all discrepancies. Gathered data and calculated the results of well tests. Scrubbed the platform and repainted faded labels on equipment. Drew a Process Flow Diagram for the production platform.

Elected by peers as one of two Pledge Class representatives on a board that oversees the actions of each of the chapter's members. Met weekly to address infractions and generate appropriate disciplinary action.

Responsible for fifteen second-graders. Escorted children across two intersections from school to church five days a week. Instructed the kids to do homework utilizing leadership skills. Mentored, encouraged, and directed children in the classroom and on the playground. Coordinated closely with other counselors while monitoring the kids for safety.
