In order to improve software and services quality, the Test Guild at MLOZ IT needed towrite down a test automation approach on different types of applications: ESB, Webapp, Desktop App and microservices.For each of those application types, documentation has been written to guide testersand developers doing their tasks the most efficient and harmonized way.It has been done by describing:• An overall description including diagrams explaining the architectures• The test goal of at every level: Unit, Integration, Acceptance and End-to-endtesting• Which tool to use depending on the application type and the already availabletools at the company• The best practices for the tools and test types• Which test type to execute at every step of the SDLC
