I supported, as company tutor, several kaizen project in collaboration with some students of Politecnico di Milano, involving the following activities held in Monzesi:- SMED analysis (results: 77% of reduction of changeover time on one milling machine) - Implementation of kanban logicThe activities are part of the Industrial Management Lab of Politecnico di Milano, where students should solve a real industrial problem in a real company.

I am supporting the Production & Supply Chain Manager in the tasks of production planning, in a continuous improvement perspective.My main tasks:- Production planning of the components of the grinding machines- Daily Kaizen coordinator- Re-organization of the workflow- 5S- Introduction of kanban system- Implementation of visual management- Spread of the continuous improvement culture among the shopfloor operators- Creation of Standard Operating ProceduresMoreover, I supported the top management in the creation of the Strategy Map and the development of the Balanced Scorecard of the company.

I am supporting a Polimi student in a kaizen project concerning the reduction of the assembly time of a grinder machine designed in Monzesi.The results of the work are reported in a final thesis of the M.Sc. in Management Engineering (Politecnico di Milano).

My Master Thesis "Risk-Based Asset Management Framework to strategically drive tactical maintenance decisions in manufacturing" was developed in the context of a research project involving a synergy between Ferrero and Politecnico di Milano. - Deep literature review, - Development of a new framework to optimize maintenance decisions in manufacturing companies, according to the Engineered Asset Management theory. - Validation of the framework in a case-study tailored on Ferrero.

GOAL ACHIEVED: 75% of reduction of missing detection of defects on the final pieceI worked in Automotive Lighting (Magneti Marelli) on a kaizen project concerning the problem of missing detection of aesthetical defects during quality control activities. This work was developed in a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) context, by using Lean techniques:- PDCA & A3 Thinking,- Pareto analysis- Ishikawa Diagram, Root Cause Analysis and 5 WHYs- Standardization of working methodsAt the end, the target has been completely achieved.The project was part of the "Industrial Management Lab" course held at Politecnico di Milano.
