Bachelor Thesis
This bachelor thesis deals with a process optimization for the assembly of a vehicle of the Daimler AG. In the assembly the trunk lid must be set under full load in X-, Y- and Z direction. The gap adjustment is made under the workload of the springs and the seal. The initial situation is the partially deficient, cost and rework intensive trunk lid adjustment of all limousines. The task was defined to develop and manufacture a new or optimized adjustment method for the trunk lid assembly of the new A- and B-Class.
