- Led a field team of five in facilitating nearly 370,000 individual contacts with voters in the district - Raised over $120,000 for a corporate free and grassroots campaign- Won nearly 40% of the vote in the June 7 primary election, despite being outspent 6-to-1-Earned over 50+ endorsements and recommendations from major community leaders and organizations, including the Center for Biological Diversity and Mom’s Demand Action.

• Headed three-person team in developing a Safer Schools Initiative in five countries across the Americas.• Conducted political analysis on Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia for use in a regional freedom of expression program conducted by the Organization of American States. • Developed alternative revenue strategies for Mexican newspapers for USAID Freedom of Press program.

Assisted Director of Innovation and senior staff in the Mayor´s Office by providing administrative and research support in regards to transportation policy, smart cities creation, health equity policy, affordable housing and environmental affairs. • Researched relevant background information, key stakeholders, and peer city actions in order to assist in policy development.• Monitored proposed environmental policy ordinances for legislative staff. • Spearheaded policy analysis project recommending strategies to tackle heath inequities and address negative social determinants of health.

-Represented YMCA and California´s youth at various events, fundraisers and to state/ national officials. -Sat on Board of Directors and as Chair of the Task Force on Strategic Direction devised the organization´s 5-year strategic plan. -Led Youth Division of the YMCA´s statewide fundraising campaign, the campaign´s 200-plus campaigners raised 113% of goal (over $35,000). -Instituted first statewide community involvement challenge, participating chapters collectively contributed over 1000 hours of community service. -Assisted in development of clothing drive for homeless youth of Sacramento, ultimately collecting 5,000 items.-Recognized by Los Angeles City Council for contributions to youth civic engagement and statewide community involvement.
