Hardware Engineering Leader developing the next generation of products at Sonos. I am responsible for facilitating innovation and pushing the limits of design while: tightly managing resources and schedules, managing product cost, making technical tradeoff decisions, and communicating decisions, issues, risks, and status to the larger Sonos organization. As the project owner, I am the voice of the development team. I work cross-functionally with Software, Industrial Design, Product Management, Operations, and other groups to create and realize high volume premium consumer electronics. My background is system-level mechanical product design for high volume consumer electronics. Shipped products include: Sonos Era 300 (ME Tech Lead), Sonos Roam, Sonos Roam Wireless Charger.I have exposure and experience in Hardware Product Management including: developing business cases, supporting PRD specifications, and analyzing customer data to justify resourcing and product feature prioritization. As part of my role I own some accessory product briefs, business cases, and nearly all product and program management for some smaller-scope accessory products.
