Working in collaboration with Salem State University and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation through a conservation fellowship concentrated on wildlife biology and endangered/threatened species management. Along with working with the Shorebird Conservation Program on the monitoring of the Piping Plover and Least Tern, I have been able to participate in local bird banding events with the in-house wildlife biologist, getting experience with Kestrel, Osprey, and Saltmarsh Sparrows. This fellowship is centered on leadership development as weekly leadership seminars are held at one of the DCR's managed parks/properties where I've learned about innerworkings of park, wildlife, recreation, and cultural resource management as well as general park operations. I have been able to sit down for discussions with the internal research team, the forestry department, the forest fire management team, and leaders of such programs as "Growing Wild" and "Greening the Gateway Cities". The fellowship has an overarching goal of completing a project relevant to the field you are placed in, mine being improving/refining the accessibility and proper interpretation of the Shorebird Conservation Program for the general public by helping to create the DCR website as well as related social media pages to increase stewardship within local communities.

Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, verifying IDs of every individual who enters the building, and escorting out violators of the rules of the store. Cleans the front of house thoroughly, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, etc.

Contributed to private event, British Consulate meetings, and weddings with up to 300 attendees, serving food and beverages, monitoring food temperatures for safety and quality, and maintaining a professional attitude.

A fellowship I served with AmeriCorps through the Montana Conservation Corps, where I worked as a Park Ranger for The Bureau of Land Management at the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument located in Fort Benton, MT. It was a multifaceted internship as I obtained experience in recreation management, museum interpretation, and wildlife biology by working closely with the staff members at the Monument. I surveyed and monitored over 600 river miles of the Monument both in canoe and jetboat, I provided education to over 250 visitors at the Interpretive Center, and developed and reworked original programs to be used in the future of the BLM, including a showcase on the history of homesteading on the Monument, as well as the section of the Nez Perce Historic Trail that run through the Monument.

Handled +$2,000 in cash and credit sales daily, serving +70 customers a shift. Managed inventory in opening and closing procedures as well as stocking by standards set by CCC. Knowledge of a wide variety of cannabis products and medical benefits such as salves, tinctures, and flower.

Worked with Park Ranger on a project focusing on the invasive species yellow iris and Japanese honeysuckle with non-chemical treatment to improve the health of the local flora in Lynn Wood's Reservation. Managed and cleared miles of trail throughout Lynn, Saugus, and Lynnfield without disturbing wildlife while promoting local biodiversity. Gave tours of the reservation to groups from local elementary schools, informing them of the ecosystem as they walked through it.
