I am a Law Student at Rutgers University, Newark Campus. I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies with a minor in Japanese Language and Literature.Previously, I worked full-time as an Immigration Paralegal with Ogletree Deakins in Tampa where I learned all stages of the Permanent Labor Certification process (PERM) for foreign nationals working in the United States, acquired robust experience in legal confidentiality, and maintained rapport with clients. As a Data Clerk, I was tasked with processing mail, organizing various files, and I became the first point of contact for firm clients. During my time as an intern with the U.S. Embassy in Manila, I received a secret-level security clearance, primarily working in the cultural affairs division.Additionally, I have extensive knowledge in Japanese language and have worked as a freelance Japanese translator; I am capable of reading and speaking the language at a professional level.
