Main teaching and research topics: urban geography, social geography, urban policies and urban/metropolitan governance.

As an extension of my PhD research focusing on the modes of governance of logistics industry development in the Greater Paris Region and the inland corridor of the port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands (successfully defended in December 2014), my research deals with the territorial dynamics linked to the logistics development and with the modes of production of logistics spaces.In particular, I analyze the transformations of blue-collar places and their governance in the dual context of the rise of logistics blue-collar jobs and the fall of manufacturing jobs in European and North-American urban regions. This research is highly multidisciplinary as it integrates economic geography (firms’ localizations, system of production of logistics spaces), social urban geography (workers housing and commuting, social segregation) and political science (local public policies, local and regional governance) analyses.Dans le prolongement de mon travail de thèse consacré à la gouvernance du développement logistique de la métropole parisienne, mes recherches portent sur les dynamiques territoriales entraînées par le développement logistique des espaces métropolitains à travers une étude approfondie des systèmes de production des espaces logistiques et du marché du travail logistique. J’analyse en particulier les transformations des territoires ouvriers et de leur gouvernance dans le contexte d’essor de l’emploi logistique ouvrier. Dans ce but, j’articule de manière systémique géographie sociale (lieux de résidence des ouvriers, mobilités quotidiennes), géographie économique (localisation des activités économiques, production de l’espace) et action publique (planification territoriale, politiques locales, gouvernance).

Co-Investigator of the MANIFER (innovation management in the railway industry) Research Project (Railenium and French National Research Agency). I particularly studied the diverse interfaces ofthe innovation processes in the railway industry, from the clusters between manufacturers andpublic and private research centers to the negotiations between the local governments and thepublic transport operators.Dans le cadre du projet de recherche MANIFER (Management de l’innovation ferroviaire), je suis tout particulièrement en charge de l'analyse des interfaces territoriales de l’innovation dans le secteur ferroviaire, depuis les pôles de compétitivité jusqu’aux négociations à l’œuvre entre autorités organisatrices et les opérateurs des transports urbains et régionaux.

Mes enseignements actuels portent principalement sur l’aménagement, l’urbanisme, le développement territorial et les transports.
