I have a PhD in immunology (2011) obtained at the university of Orleans, France. In Isabelle Couillin's team, I studied the role of endogenous danger signals as inducers of sterile lung inflammation and fibrosis. I performed a five-year post-doctoral experience (2012-2017) at the National Institutes of Health in Alan Sher's laboratory where I studied CD4+ T follicular helper cells. I was recruited as CNRS scientist in 2018 at the INEM laboratory (https://www.inem.cnrs.fr/) and started as deputy director of the IMune HEAlth international laboratory (https://www.imhea.cnrs.fr/) in January 2024. This Franco-Brazilian lab in the field of immunology is based in Riberão Preto, São Paulo state, Brazil. My main focus is on STING signaling and lung fibrosis.
