I am a recent business finance graduate from Clark Atlanta University. I am currently taking a leap into the data analytic field. I am working to pursue the Google Data Analytics Professional certificate, where I am gaining knowledge in data cleaning, sorting, and analyzing. Essential programs such as R, SQL and Tableau will soon be under my belt.My interest in data analytics stemmed from my degree in finance. I love deep diving into numbers and understanding the information that spreadsheets. I felt as if this was the perfect field to showcase my computer skills outside of programs. Although most of my current work experience is outside of the finance and tech industry, I believe the skills such as teamwork and communication that I have picked up from previous jobs, along with being a hard worker, will allow me to hold my own in this field.I believe clearly defined roles, communication and accountability are the main things that make teams work at the highest level, and that is where I am the best at. In a group who is competitive and hates to lose just as much as I do.
