Responsible for the management and implementation of two Project components:- Knowledge production on biodiversity governance, and - Capacity-building and technical assistance in support to 10 partner countries and stakeholders in support to the implementation of the GBF Establishment of activity strategies• Draft regular work plans and activity strategies• Ensure the consistency with the Project’s general and specific objectives• Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles Implementation of Project activities• Coordinate the preparation of pre-activity documents• Coordinate the team of experts and partners involved• Ensure an implementation fo activities in line with the Project’s objectives and priorities• Oversee the technical, administrative, financial, and MEAL completion of activities• Report on activities including successes, lessons learnt and way forward Partner coordination• Ensure coordination with the Project’s partners• Establish regular and efficient communication with the Project’s partners• Represent the Project in partner activities and events Management of expertise• Identify and select relevant experts to mobilize with a view to increase quality and impact• Draft terms of reference and other documents related to expertise missions• Ensure that the work of the selected experts is framed, accompanied and monitored• Control the quality and reception of deliverables• Ensure that the compliance with Expertise France rules and regulations. Project team coordination• Contribute to the recruitment of Project team members• Take part in team meetings and provide progress updates regarding the 02 components• Contribute to reviewing internal team management and planning tools• Contribute to the preparation of reports according to the Project’s reporting cycles• Supervise the work of the Administrative and Financial and Communications Officers, in the performance of the activities related to the 02 components
