I had the opportunity to conduct a complete software development project from scoping to delivery, the survival analysis plugin.Working within the hybrid Business Solutions team, I presented and discussed my work to software engineers, data scientists and also business and industry experts. Python (scikit-learn, lifelines), JavaScript (Apache ECharts), Jenkins.The Survival Analysis plugin on which I worked was a highly sought after component that now integrates standard survival analysis models on the Dataiku platform. These models meet the needs of multiple industries and use cases (pharmaceutical, manufacturing, churn analysis).After a review of existing software and initial scoping, I developed the plugin in Python and JavaScript from scratch. Alongside development, I was coached by the dedicated UX team of Dataiku and able to continuously perform usability tests of the software. These tests were instrumental in having a better understanding of the user experience and improving the accessibility of the software.During this internship I also released a new version of the Generalized Linear Models plugin of Dataiku for which a migration to a new Python library was needed.
