Since 2010, I have been doing research in the area of ​​Biomedical Optics, specifically in the formation of images in biological media. I am focused on continuous wave, with wide image field. In 2017 I got my PhD. It was focused on the basic science aspects necessary for the development of medical imaging systems using diffuse reflectance using NIR, oriented to mammographic systems. Besides my doctoral thesis, this work resulted in several scientific articles and new research lines. At this moment I have a postdoctoral fellowship on CIFICEN, CONICET. The work in it is focused on advancing with the mammographic system by diffuse reflectance, building on what was done in the research of the previous 6 years. The objective is to develop techniques and algorithms for the detection and characterization of lesions using agents of contrast both intrinsic and extrinsic. Part of my work has been done as a guest researcher at the PTB, in Berlin, Germany and at the ICAT of the National University of Mexico.
