Anyone wanting to create knows how important the creative space is. But we often forget that creative space does not always entail a physical one, but rather a collective consciousness wherein we have the comfort to develop our curiosity as well as our agency. Having a community willing to foster your imagination as well as your ambition, is perhaps what all creators need most. At Collective Culture, I have:• Pitched, wrote and published feature articles with an emphasis on language, culture andcommunity/diaspora.• Developed, organized and hosted a webinar on Haitian Diaspora in Montreal.• Authored an opinion piece on language and race conflicts in Quebec.• Brainstormed strategy and website content with the team.• Developed research and as well as translation skills (Creole, French, English).• Interviewed numerous writers, activists and asylum seekers.

Scribbles embellishes a lack of restraint when it comes to publishing. "No limits, no constraints, just you." Featuring emerging artists and writers alike, the magazine has allowed me to collaborate with amazing talent and develop my skills as an editor. At Scribbles Magazine, I have:• Edited and prepared several works (poetry and fiction) for print and digital publication.• Flexibly collaborated with writers while providing in depth workshop on writing. • Aimed to accommodate with a writer’s artistic intent.
