I studied and implemented several existing changepoint detection algorithms in Python.Afterwards, I implemented still in Python a new algorithm, under the supervision of Vincent Runge, Assistant Professor of Mathematics. I realized multiple tests and simulations with R and Python in order to validate the interest of this new algorithm, such as performance and time complexity tests.The final step was to try on real data. The second one was to analyze antibiogram results.For this project, we've been writing a scientific paper to introduce this new algorithm whose name is SlopeOP (for Slope Optimal Partitioning).
