As a PhD student in Environmental Epidemiology at USC and the Director of Project Development at the Water Insecurity Correction Coalition (WICC), I have been privileged to inspire and unite many from across the nation in the battle against climate change and water insecurity. My expertise spans data science, emerging contaminants (specifically PFAS and VOCs), water security, environmental health, and interdisciplinary climate education and community engagement. Starting Fall 2024, I'll begin my PhD focusing on emerging contaminants, particularly Per- and Polyfluorinated Substances (PFAS) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and their impacts on community health and the environment. My mission is to bridge the gap between academic research and community well-being, making complex environmental issues accessible to all.

Student Research InternLmu Center For Urban Resilience (Cures) Jan 2023 - PresentLos Angeles, California, United StatesAs an intern at Ballona Discovery Park, I had the privilege of actively engaging with the park's diverse community of visitors, including students, and serving as a liaison between LMU and park attendees. My responsibilities included providing informative tours and participating in park events to foster environmental education. During the summer, I took on the role of Teacher's Assistant, supporting classes in urban ecology and contributing to the growth of knowledge in this field. Additionally, I played a key role in updating educational modules for the Urban Ecology Learning Modules on the CURES website, helping to make valuable resources accessible to a wider audience. I am also working on various research studies within the park, focusing on projects such as oak tree studies to assess their health by measuring height and locations. These experiences have not only broadened my understanding of urban ecology but have also reinforced my commitment to environmental education and conservation
