Le Casse-Croûte
Région De Bengaluru, Inde
Le Casse-Croûte is a gourmet startup started in 2015 and run by 4 french people in Bangalore, India. Our vision is simple, prepare and introduce homemade & fresh french food to Bangaloreans! We started the first french Food-truck in Bangalore back in September 2015. When we started this venture only 5-6 food trucks were in the city. At the beginning we had a small limited menu, with only 9 items, basically toasted sandwiches, french fries and one dessert. We make our sandwiches with our own homemade bread that we bake every day and the sauces are also fresh and daily made. We want to give a unique experience to people. The freshness of our ingredients and the 100% Homemade recipes that we have implemented are giving its unique taste that you cannot get anywhere else in Bangalore. Our french fries are also unique in town because we peel & cut them one by one, and we double fry them as we use to do in the north of France where I'm from. As we make all the sauces at our Atelier, we launched our own range of products as well. All the sauces are not available as we don't use preservatives, but you can get our very own Pâté, the Moutarde de Bangalore, our Grandma's ketchup and the famous Crème de la Crème jar that people loves with its sweet taste and salted touch! Get them at the truck, or our take-away counter or even online on our website www.le-casse-croute.com/shop/Beginning 2016, in association with NUMA Bengaluru we started our Pop-Up café. Since the beginning we wanted to have a café but it turned into a food truck so we took this opportunity to give a try! It went pretty well, the café was located in the center of the city, but it was a short-term contract so it got over after 5 months. Now we're focusing more on developing take-away counter or counter with few seatings where people can experience homemade french food at its best! You can track our food truck on our website: www.le-casse-croute.com/the-truck/track-the-truck
