Nicolás Ruarte / NoMa is a multimedia artist and designer. He works as a consultant in multimedia design and AI development for several leading companies in the field. He's also a college professor and researcher specialized in AI, 3D animation, UX/UI design and audiovisual production. He is a BA in Visual Arts at UNA with a specialization in Image Digitization.In 2023 he obtained the Huawei HCIA - Artificial Intelligence Certification with a full scholarship by the “1000 talents for the digital development of Latin America and the Caribbean” program from the Government of Mexico, through the AMEXCID agency, in conjunction with the technology company Huawei. He’s an expert in development and training of AI tools with specialization in image and sound generating LLM AIs, prompt engineering, Stable Diffusion, ControlNET, Bark, Facefussion, and others.He is an assistant researcher in the BioArt research team at the UNA directed by Celeste Sanchez Saenz de Tejeda and also assistant researcher in the Visual Arts Technology research team at the UNA directed by Carina Ferrari.He has worked since 2015 as a 3D modeler, photographer, drone pilot, audiovisual producer and graphic designer for clients like the Ministry of National Transportation, Ministry of Public Works of the CABA, Buenos Aires Province Road Authority, OMI Construcciones, IECSA, ENERCOM and others, making renderings of infrastructure projects, photographic, topographic and audiovisual surveys with drone and camera, institutional posters, graphics and audiovisuals.In 2023, he received the Finalist Award for Best Super Short Film at the international SWIFF festival for his experimental short film "(0,0)" and an Honorary Mention at the Girona Film Festival. This film combines 3D animation and stop motion with artificial intelligence, offering a poetic reflection on the destiny of the cosmos. It explores themes of entropy, cosmology, and humanity's quest to understand its place in the universe.He has been involved in theater and film production since 2006, contributing to various productions in roles such as general director, art director, set designer, and performer. In 2019, he debuted as a director with "Arismendi," In 2021, he received the FOMECA grant from ENACOM for audiovisual productions, initiating the production of "Arismendi the Movie," currently in post-production.
