When you dedicate your life to sales, and you can manage them with a greater purpose, with a sense that you are making people's lives better, and when this is achieved through negotiations that go far beyond the usual sales process it is twice as satisfactory. - An example of this was the successful purchase of the company that is now our Septodont subsidiary in Brazil. Where my role was helping actively to shorten the selection process, finding the most suitable opportunities while generating all the necessary links between both companies.- In like manner, when I received responsibility for finding a solution in the Colombian market, in this case the challenge was quite different. Finding the more adequate company led by the appropriate people where all involved were hugely satisfied was the biggest challenge. Once I understood the structure from Importaciones Dental Universitario, knew better their leaders, and their people, I realized they were the best candidate for a successful project in Colombia.Also, during these years, we had to make decisions with great sorrow, as changing distributors in certain countries; That change entails in some cases a large sum of money and achieving that transition with the least possible economic impact is part of the success achieved. Leaving the bridges intact between both companies is maybe the greater challenge, done successfully in most cases.Knowing how to choose the right distributor, which one will be the one that best suits the way your company works, has been a constant within my achievements throughout my professional career. I have the honor of winning 4 times the highest prize awarded by the company Septodont (Schiller Award) for the most outstanding work in each region, this kind of reward only reinforces the desire to go that extra mile every day. We do not work alone, but as a team: thinking and above all believing that you can contribute to others' growth is not a cliché, I understand it as a legacy. Over the years of work, I continue to have the affection and respect of many people with whom I have worked, and to continue receiving it makes me feel proud, as it is a reflection that I am on the right path. This happens when you add value to each link in the chain.
