I'm a creative and curious individual at the crossroads of film, creativity, public policies and AI Art. My role as the counterpart of Chilecreativo, a private public initiative for supporting the local creative economy, aligns with CORFO's mission to elevate the creative industries in Chile as a pivotal component of our nation’s economic vitality. I spearhead strategies to bolster our cultural economy, most notably through public funding initiatives designed to amplify the impact of local creators and industry professionals.Previously, I dedicated nearly a decade as a proud member of the National Audiovisual Council of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Heritage, where I advocated for policies to nurture our nation’s rich film ecosystem. My roots in the creative sector extend to academia, where I served as an Executive Producer and educator at Escuela de Cine de Chile. There, I was instrumental in steering the Project Development Office and guiding the cinematic aspirations of students, underscoring my commitment to melding educational excellence with artistic pursuit.In an earlier chapter, I managed a $3 million fund for CORFO, catalyzing project development and distribution, a testament to my resolve in carving out a global stage for Chilean cinema.With a storied career nurturing the confluence of technology and artistry, I continue to champion innovation within the creative industries, whether creating new funding initiatives or experimenting and challenging myself in the fascinating world of AI art.
