From a very early age, I accompanied my grandfather to his farm where I acquired experience in food production and the challenges that are experienced in the field. When I discovered the fascinating world of microbiology I realized that many of the problems that my grandfather faced with his crops such as pests that led him to bankruptcy, high production costs due to the cost of agrochemicals, and intoxication with agrochemicals were caused by a dead soil, consequence of the lack of tools in the field to understand these microscopic organisms. From that moment on, I started working on the creation of biotechnological solutions for agriculture and this is where SaBio was born.Our solution allows farmers to have the necessary tools, knowledge, and data in their production sites to become independent of agro-chemical inputs and achieve more profitable, healthy, and productive crops. We achieve this by understanding and partnering with the life in soils creating food systems that are more resilient and have a direct impact on the quality of life of farmers, consumers, and the planet.
