BBT is a multi-billion-dollar hedge fund and family office for the Bass family in Fort Worth. I was part of a team that managed an investment portfolio of up to $1.5 billion. My responsibilities were identifying and executing investment opportunities in the public equity markets, focusing on the global tech sector. I also co-managed a long/short portfolio of tech stocks. My tenure at BBT allowed me to develop deep domain knowledge in valuation and competitive analysis of companies across technology industries such as IT systems, software, semiconductors, consumer electronics, networking equipment and telecommunications

Starting with zero finance background, I climbed the learning curve quickly and enjoyed working long hours because there were constantly new areas to explore.
