My areas of interest include constitutional and administrative law; competition law; regulatory law (in the environment, energy and extractives, economics and finance, education, land and housing and healthcare sectors); procurement, project finance and PPP law; and international law (including trade and investment).In South Africa, advocates (equivalent to barristers in other jurisdictions) are specialists in courtroom advocacy and litigation strategy.

Chambers ’56 is a group of advocates founded by women in honour of the women who led the historic 1956 Women’s March. It is dedicated to the advancement of black, women and junior advocates within the legal profession, as well as to the dismantling of inequality in broader society.

- Provided technical research on World Trade Organisation (WTO) law, intellectual property obligations, and right to health obligations in domestic, regional and international law. - Compiled relevant case law from key domestic jurisdictions, regional and international courts/tribunals on the obligation to fulfil the right to health.

- Worked with partners at the Centre for Applied Legal Studies (CALS) to provide comprehensive legal support to mining-affected communities across South Africa.- Assisted MACUA branches to obtain, analyse and audit mines' Social and Labour Plans.- Prepared submissions to the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy, the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Mineral Resources and Energy, and other duty bearers.

- Worked closely with the Head of National Organising to formulate, plan and implement all campaigns.- Coordinated community-led research and legal drafting to support EE court cases.- Prepared submissions to Parliament, provincial legislatures, and national and provincial education departments.*First year at EE was funded by Yale University's Charles P. Howland Public Service Fellowship.

- Supported with case management for the International Human Rights law clinic at Yale Law School.- Led a team from the Schell Centre for International Human Rights to design a human rights and peace studies curriculum for the Dr. Hawa Abdi Foundation in Somalia.

- Coded and consolidated largescale datasets on education quality in Southern African countries for the Southern and Eastern African Consortium for the Monitoring of Education Quality (SACMEQ).
