MES test includes not only field MES upgrade validation scenarios, but validates the new machine order process correctness, including machine/hardware installation instructions, labeling on HW parts, Field Bill of Materials, etc. Testers place MFG orders for MES test kits (kits are defined in the test plan for MES system test; Frame rolls and Loose piece) as the start of the order system validation process.• Works closely and oversees MES test planning with extended MES team participants (i.e. eConfig dev/test, MFI, MFC, FBM, Installation Instructions, etc.)• Attends all offering management meetings for up-to-date Line-item information to stay on top of new MES test requirements.• Ensures that all existing and new customer selectable HW feature codes get tested via MES end to end test scenario test cases (Utilizing combination FC tests and paper checks where possible, during MES test scenarios). Paper checks are used to validate the correctness of the packing list for a given order and can be cost effective methods of validating order inventory lists as opposed to a hands-on migration test. It is not possible to cover all possible permutations of customer migration scenarios given people and machine resource constraints.• Ensures all MES dependencies are met and tracks completion of open items (TCs, JUPs, Paper test kit cancellations, etc).
