I am a Chemical Engineer from the Unviersidad de los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia) and am currently pursuing a masters degree in Advanced Materials and Processes (MAP) at Friedrich-Alexander Universität (Erlangen, Germany) with a focus on nanoparticles and bioprocesses. I acquired 3+ years of experience in the cosmetics industry working as a lab assistant and later a formulation scientist. I learned how to design and develop several make-up format formulas from the lab to the first industrial scale stages and worked on the substitution of 20+ raw materials within 30+ formulas of the company’s make-up portfolio.I have a problem-solving oriented mindset. I am fast learner and enjoy sharing knowledge through dialogue and collaboration to find solutions that fulfill the team’s requirements for a particular challenge. I am fluent in both Spanish and English and am currently working on my German skills. I’ve worked with Office Suite, SAP and have programming skills in MATLAB, Visual VBA and Python.
