My major in college was English with a focus in Creative Writing. I chose it because I greatly enjoy writing fiction and poetry. I'd hope to be a writer, counselor, teacher or in the future. I'm excited to learn more and improve myself in life. I really want to help people in any way I can. I care about the person who feels unseen.My current job in my hometown is that of a tennis attendant and site manager. I check patrons into the courts before they play, and make sure the courts are good condition. I constantly am using communication and customer service skills, since I interact with dozens of regular patrons on the daily. If there are any problems checking in with permit passes, I am responsible for charging a guest fee for players. I'm proud of all the good relationships I've made with the people at the department and tennis players. Many of them are regulars so I would see them many days a week.I also write for a bevy of websites. I write for Total Apex Gaming and Total Apex Entertainment, where I make creative or news-based articles. I'm the Content Director at the Ohana Homefront Foundation, and I provide a monthly blog post regarding mental health awareness.I run two personal blogs, Lunch with Nick and Writer May Cry. Lunch with Nick is purely creative. I post poetry and personal reflections and stories about my life. Writer May Cry is a professional blog that focuses on improving the craft and skillset of both new and old writers. Both these blogs are very special to me, and I contribute to each of them daily.I have great communication skills as well as client relations skills and experience working in customer service for many years. I would provide a kind, friendly, and welcoming face in a customer service environment.Some common words for jobs related to teaching and psychology are empathy, communication, understanding, and patience.I believe that I am a very social and amicable person, and this has greatly aided me in all of my professional endeavors. All of my friends and family would agree that I am incredibly friendly and outgoing, and I use these skills to aid me in my professional positions.
