The Developer Advocate role in Amadeus has the following aim: give the best developer experience for all inside the company. To do this, many actions are done.- We continuously follow developers in their day-by-day life to present solutions, tips, to gather feedback, requirements.- We animate a Software Craftsmanship Community (at Sophia-Antipolis, Amadeus, Worldwide levels) to promote best practices to developers, whatever the origin of the "recommendations". Objective of this community is to discuss between any developer, whatever his responsibility, to make sure we take the best solution.- We have to take responsibilities for some choices, and we have a governance value on those. We have to consider any developer related problem: documentation tooling, continuous integration/delivery options, branching model, coding guidelines...- We broadcast the news from Support teams to all developers, and we give them back feedback- We innovate trying to make Amadeus a better IT company, adding a coding test for applications for example.
