Healthcare Entrepreneur, Founder, Executive Leader, Investor, Board Director & AdvisorHealthcare has been my passion throughout most of my professional life – in international corporate environments and as entrepreneur and Business Angel. I co-founded medneo (Radiology as a Service) and OpenRad (IT rails for diagnostic imaging) and helped to build it from zero to 550+ people – what a journey. I recently transitioned from Group CEO to the supervisory board. With medneo we are improving access to high-end diagnostic imaging (e.g. MRI, CT, etc.) for patients with a new pan-European operating model for medical service providers: Radiology as a Service. And with OpenRad we bring workflow IT to 3rd party diagnostic centers beyond medneo. I have developed the organization for CEOs to manage the brands independently and I help to create value as board director. Now I am supporting outstanding impact founders on their journey to improve our lives – as angel investor, board director and mentor – together with amazing networks like Better Ventures and Springboard Health. Also, I am guiding entrepreneurs to evolve from founder to CxO (transition startup to grown-up) – in advisory roles and in board functions – this includes capital formation and exit events. I'm a grateful member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization – the meaningful connections with diverse and inspiring people helped me to grow as a person. Also, I'm a board member of the EO chapters in Berlin and the European Bridge. Berlin based. Originally from the south of Germany (Pforzheim), had the opportunity to live and work abroad (e.g. USA, UK, China). I like endurance sports, especially long-distance running (Marathon+) and cycling.
