About Nicola Triscott

Nicola Triscott is a curator, researcher and writer, known for her expertise in the intersections between art, science, technology and society. She has extensive experience as an arts professional and cultural entrepreneur. She currently serves as Chief Executive of FACT Liverpool, a major UK arts centre specialising in the support and exhibition of art that embraces new technology and explores digital culture. Previously, Nicola was the founding Director/CEO of Arts Catalyst (1994-2019). Over 25 years, she built Arts Catalyst into an international arts and research organization, commissioning more than 170 artists’ projects and curating or co-curating numerous exhibitions as well as leading on research and strategic programmes. Nicola has curated numerous exhibitions and events. She lectures and publishes internationally, including edited books on art and technology in the Arctic, art and space, and ecological art. She blogs at www.nicolatriscott.org on the critical inter-relationships between the arts, science and society. From 2017-19, she was Principal Research Fellow for Interdisciplinary Art and Science at the University of Westminster.
