Liaised between the sponsorship community and the federal government to ensure training and information needs were being met for Sponsorship Agreement Holders, Community Groups and Groups of Five. Organized a number of training sessions, conferences, workshops and meetings with the purpose of increasing information sharing for the purpose of private refugee resettlement. Coordinated the RSTP Online Training Course: An Introduction to Sponsorship and Settlement including student recruitment, course management and volunteer/tutor recruitment.

Toronto, Canada Area

Coordinated all outreach activities aimed at building awareness and increasing involvement by parishes and religious order within the Archdiocese of Toronto with a goal at increasing the number of groups actively participating in refugee sponsorship. Supported and trained all groups from raising awareness of the issue, to organizing volunteers and submitting paperwork to sponsor, to preparing for the arrival of the refugees and supporting them in their settlement, and everything in between.

Supported a professor in her research by entering and coding data as well as reviewing the existing literature on retirement decisions and organizing a draft literature review for an academic article.

Functioned as the intermediary between students and the professor. Facilitated a weekly lab for students in addition to their lecture. Graded weekly assignments and essays.
