I am currently the Payroll and Benefits Manager at BrightInsight, a digital health platform company that delivers regulated software as a medical device solutions for biopharma and medtech customers.At BrightInsight, I am responsible for managing benefits and leave administration, US and international payroll, 401k administration, tax registrations, expense reimbursements, and vendor relationships. I successfully led an HRIS/payroll implementation from a PEO to a payroll platform and set up over 30 states tax nexuses. In addition, I have partnered with HR team members to create various policies and an Employee Handbook, manage company wellness programs, and streamline processes for onboarding, performance management, and training and development. I am proficient in using various software systems, such as Namely, PrismHR, Vfficient, Sage Intacct, Ramp, Nexonia, Expensify, Carta, TrackWise, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite. I am always eager to learn new skills and expand my knowledge in the fields of human resources, payroll, and benefits.I am also a certified yoga instructor with a 200-Hour RYT credential from YogaFit. I have been teaching vinyasa yoga classes for over 11 years, and I enjoy educating and empowering my students to improve their physical and mental well-being. I am skilled in guiding members through invigorating and encouraging yoga practices, demonstrating proper alignment and pose modifications, and promoting safety and injury prevention.
