As the Patient Support Specialist at The Pavillion, I educate and bring mindfulness, yoga, and breathwork to clients, families, and staff. I lead therapeutic groups and I assist in facilitating Wellness Retreats. Prior to stepping into the Patient Support Specialist role at The Pavillon, I was the Health and Wellness Coordinator at Blue Ridge Therapeutic Wilderness where I held positions as a nutritionist, yoga instructor, senior field staff, and as the family services coordinator. I addition, I am a yoga instructor, personal trainer, and health coach at Clayton Health and Fitness. I previously spent twenty-five plus years in the hospitality, food service, customer service, and fashion industries and twenty years in outdoor leadership to include teaching primitive survival skills and guiding Class V Whitewater. I currently hold several certifications: RYS Certified Yoga instructor, Certified Nutritionist, CPT, WFR, and have earned a degree in education and communications from Florida South Western State College.
