Working within the Retail Finance team at the Post Office, I provided financial support to both the project accounting team and the Cash and Banking Services commercial team. My role focused on financial modelling, business case submissions, monthly reporting and variance analysis, budgeting/forecasting and process improvement.

Working within the Management Information team at ASB, I provided financial support to the Corporate, Commercial and Rural business unit. My role focused on preparing forecasts/budgets for net interest income and balance sheet growth, close monitoring of margins and business case review, along with the preparation of monthly management packs.

Working within the Management Information team at ASB, providing financial support to the Operations business unit. In my role I worked primarily on detailed salary, FTE and discretionary expense budgets/forecasts and monthly management reports.

The Future Me graduate programme is a two year rotational programme within ASB's Financial Services division. I completed five rotations across Financial Accounting, Risk and Compliance, Management Accounting, Corporate Strategy and Retail (branch network).During this time I also completed an adhoc graduate project on one of the Bank's strategic initiatives, actively participated in community events, compiled a monthly newsletter and presented to various universities across New Zealand as part of ASB's recruitment drive.I am now a Future Me Alumni member and loved mentoring new graduates through the programme.

Scott Technology Ltd is an innovative company specialising in automation and robotics technology. While completing my university studies, I assisted with:- processing a wide range of creditors, completing reconciliations and data input; - providing assistance to the management accounting team; and- helping launch a Customer Resource Management (CRM) system.
