Applied and accepted into Lehigh’s phage research program sponsored by Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI).Isolated and purified bacteriophage from soil and determined physical features of phage by electron microscopy.Discovered and named the bacteriophage “Spongebob” and was a contributing author on the published manuscript “Genome Sequences of Six Cluster N Mycobacteriophages isolated on M. smegmatis mc2155: Kevin1, Nenae, Parmesanjohn, ShrimpFriendEgg, Smurph, and SpongeBob.” This manuscript was published in the American Society of Microbiology (“ASM”).
