While maintaining my administrative duties, with this new role, I will work to emphasize press and influencer visits to Fairmont Austin, as well as assist with all on-property film and photo shoots while collaborating with multiple departments throughout the hotel to publicize its offerings. I will continue to leverage and grow relationships with industry partners, and spotlight Fairmont Austin through award and thought leadership submissions.

At Fairmont Austin I assist in public relations efforts to maximize local and regional awareness with the drafting of press releases, pitching and media relations. I've coordinated many media familiars where we invite select media influencers to enjoy the amenities Fairmont Austin has to offer; this ensures further exposure of the hotel, as well as its food and beverage outlets. During my time with the Fairmont Austin Marketing team, I've been able to maintain relationships with other industry partners, collaborating with them and cultivating mutual exposure for both parties. This position has given me ample experience in working with multiple departments throughout the hotel. I work diligently on creating eye-catching, informative marketing materials and initiatives that maximize the food and beverage outlets, the rooms division, catering and events, and my favorite, the Fairmont Austin Spa. These initiatives have garnered a larger audience for the hotel, allowing the Marketing team to expand their reach locally, regionally and nationally across the United States.
