Hello there! My name is Nicole, and I am an artist, collaborator, and type A personality (but in a fun way!). I have a bit of an unconventional resume, having spent many years as a performer working hand in hand with other creatives throughout the country, but don't let that scare you! These experiences have helped me developed skills so I can thrive in a variety of situations. I find that making genuine connections with others makes any interaction, whether in a social or professional setting, so much more fulfilling, and I strive to live life with humor, humility, and joy each day!Currently serving as a Virtual Estimator at New City Moving in Chicago, I spend my days connecting with customers over video chat to walk them through the moving process. While collecting data to generate an accurate quote, I am also allaying any fears or worries they may have as they embark on what is often cited as one of life's biggest stressors -- moving! Customers typically walk away from our interactions feeling both informed and at ease. I'm proud of my ability to help them make their transition into a new home as seamless as possible!Outside of work, I'm a musician and part time pirate! My shanty band, Ship Shape, travels the country and performs at Renaissance faires on the weekends. I get to meet so many new people and find this work so enriching! And working with my bandmates has honed so many of my useful skills: communication, leadership, attention to detail (you'd be surprised how much there is to keep track of!), time management, multi tasking, and more!
